Characteristics:

PYTHON SUPER 8R is an eight strand rope with a plastic coated IWRC. The Filler construction provides an excellent combination of flexibility, longevity and abrasion resistance. Due to its robust design, SUPER 8R is recommended for tough environmental and working conditions.

SUPER 8R is neither rotation-resistant nor non-rotating.

Fields of application:

SUPER 8R is recommended as trolley rope, luffing/penadant rope as well as hoisting rope for:

  • Portal and ship cranes
  • RTG
  • Floating, container and harbour cranes
