Recently the world famous statue, “Den lille Havfrue” (The little mermaid), was moved from her usual habitat in Copenhagen, to the world exhibition in Shanghai. Gunnebo Lifting products were trusted for the very delicate task of lifting the invaluable statue for transportation.
The little mermaid has sat on her rock since 1913 and is attracting millions of visitors to Copenhagen each year. The statue is based on a famous fairytale by H.C. Andersen, which was also the inspiration to the Disney movie “The little mermaid”.
