Gunnebo Industries further strengthens its blocks and sheaves business in Europe

Gunnebo Industries and Certex Norway have signed an agreement transferring Certex Norways’s Project Department to Gunnebo Industries. This includes all products such as sheaves, blocks, frames and beams/spreaders.

“This fits perfectly with the strategy of Gunnebo Industries. Gunnebo Industries will further strengthen its footprint in Europe towards sheaves, blocks and beams for the next years”, says Arne Riple, Managing Director of Gunnebo Industries in Norway and responsible for Gunnebo Industries’ Blocks & Sheaves business in Europe.

Gunnebo Industries will take over the ownership of products, such as:

• Offshore Cranes sheaves
• Launch & Recovery sheaves
• Drilling/ Riser Tension sheaves
• Standard sheaves (DNV Type Approved sheave series)
• DNV Type Approved Spreader/ Beams series
• Standard Lifting Beam series
